Shoe designer Christian Louboutin, who is known for famously painting the soles of his shoes red, is suing Yves Saint Laurent for taking "his" idea and also painting the soles of their shoes red in their latest collection. YSL insists that they were in their right and were in no way trying to rip off Louboutin. Designer, Valentino has stepped in to defend YSL, saying he created a shoe with a red sole back in 1969...23 years before Louboutin even established his business.

The Queen of Hearts
Today would have been Princess Diana's 50'th birthday. In order of what would have been a milestone birthday if the princess wasn't tragically killed in a car accident, Newsweek magazine decided to feature Di on the cover. The magazine digitally aged the princess using photoshop, and pictured her walking along side daughter-in-law Kate Middleton.
In my opinion, this magazine cover is wrong on so many levels. Tasteless, immoral and offensive. Instead of trying to imagine what the princess would have looked like, lets remember her how she was- an icon. Here is a look back at her most famous and iconic dresses:

Put On Your Dancing Shoes...
Woah! Shoe designer Christian Louboutin has taken high heels to the next level - literally. The French courtier has created an 8 inch pair of stilettos resembling pointe shoes. Louboutin said he was inspired to design the Swarovski-encrusted heels after viewing a performance by the English National Ballet....interesting!
The pair are going to be auctioned off with several other designs, in order to raise money for the English National Ballet.
Fit For A Princess!
Like the rest of the world, I too have an infatuation with Prince William's new wife, The Duchess of Cambridge. I am always excited to see what she is going to wear next! Kate conveys the perfect combination of classy, chic and trendy. Today the princess was pictured boarding a plane to Canada for her first official royal tour looking effortlessly gorgeous in navy.
If you want Kate's style and want to look like royalty, then heres how to do it:

Victoria's Secret..revealed!
Victoria Beckham has revealed that she will be expanding her fashion line and adding a collection of more "affordable"clothing. The collection will be known as "Victoria by Victoria Beckham". The line will range between $550-$1000...which is pocket change compared to the prices of her original line.

"These are the kind of dresses I’ve been searching for. The perfect little summer dress, something that was fun, something that was girly, something that was easy to wear, something that would take you from day through the night. Where I am currently, I like a more modern attitude. Also, it means that I’m opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured. It also makes it more comfortable for during the day. You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great."

Goodbye Galliano!
John Galliano has been the creative director for Christian Dior for over 10 years now. Today he was fired after a video leaked onto the internet of him being anti-cemitic and claiming he "loves hitler". Christian Dior released a statement earlier today saying:
"I condemn with the greatest firmness the comments made by John Galliano, in total contradiction with the essential values which have always been defended by Christian Dior."
Natalie Portman who is the face of Dior's latest fragrance and also a jew commented on the video saying:
"I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano’s comments that surfaced today. In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way. I hope at the very least, these terrible comments remind us to reflect and act upon combating these still-existing prejudices that are the opposite of all that is beautiful."
Lea Lets Us Down :(
Lea Michele showed up to the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party on sunday night in a blue sparkly Roberto Cavalli gown. The only way I can describe this look is that it looks like the midnight sky threw up on her. Although I am just not a fan of the dress, it could have worked on somebody older and not as petite as Lea.
